Pamela Resurreccion, a trauma nurse assigned to Expeditionary Resuscitative Surgical System 19, explains a foley catheter during a trauma training skills lab in the medical triage ward aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Iwo Jima is homeported in Mayport, Fla., and is deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
