The shell is broadly ovoidal, giving rise to a strong apical horn ; this is formed by three of the four apical plates (plates 1', 2' and 4'). Apical plates i' and 4' are larger than the other two plates ; 1' is elongate. The single anterior inter- calary plate ia is large and located between the apical plates 3', 4' and precingular.
