. A complete list of the latest novelties. Nursery stock Michigan Adrian Catalogs; Chrysanthemums Catalogs; Carnations Catalogs; Flowers Catalogs. New Chrysanthemums for iooi. Descriptions of Nathan Smith & Son's Novelties. Our persistent efforts to improve the Chrysanthemum have been crowned with success. Each year bestows new awards for the new candidates. We believe our success is due to the care we take in selection of parentage, with the view of securing marked improve- ments. When you consider that we are the originators of such kinds as Iora, Niveus, Nyanza, Mo- desto, Mrs. M. A. Ryerson, Mrs. J. J. Glessner, Sunstone, Merula, Western King, Midge, Merza, Rustique, Idavan, Xeno, Nagoya, Mon- rovia, Orizaba, In- tensity, White Bon- naffon, Lavender Queen, Goldmine and Superba, all of which are classed among the best, not only in this country, but abroad, it is evident that we are in touch with the needs of all Chrysanthemum growers. We consider Io- laullia the best early pink yet pro- duced. Omega is an extra large, second early yellow. Ulrs. Hlmer D. Smith is an improvement on Maj. Bonnaffon. Al- though the last men- tioned variety failed to secure the Chrys- IOLANTHA. anthemum Society Cup by one point, yet it outscored all competitors, receiving the highest number of points before that Society's Committees. This fact is worthy of consideration when ordering novelties. We commend the following: Price, 50c each; $ per doz.; $ per 100. Ready April 1st, 1901. Not less than 6 at dozen and 25 at 100 rates. Orders filled in strict rotation. Iolantlia.—An incurving pink maturing Oct. 10th to 15th. Fine stem and foliage; height 3A ft.; good from either bud, although second crown (about Sept. 5th) comes a few days earlier. Color a beautiful shade of soft pink. We consider this the best early pink yet produced. Certificated by C. S. Please note that these images are extracted from scanned page images that may have been digitally enhanced for readabili
