A supply of flowers has been available and has been enough to meet the demand. Roses have been in large supply. Carnations are not so plentiful and are deteriorating in quality. A fair supply of snapdragons is to be had, although the supply is not so heavy as it was before Mothers' day. They are of good quality and are quick sellers. Gladioli are more abundant and the majority of them are of splen- did quality and move well. Sweet peas in large quantities are to be had. Lilies are scarce. Daisies are being brought in and are popular. Peonies, candytuft and feverfew, Me- morial day stand-bys, are beginning to arrive. Various Notes. The Florists' Supply House is now open for business in its new location, 229 North Delaware street. This firm has enlarged its stock considerably and will be better able to care for its grow- ing trade. Morris Marer will open a retail store in the former location of the Florists' Supply House, 105 East Ohio street, and will be ready on or before Me- morial day. The cool weather continues to hold back the sale of bedding stock to an unusually late date this spring. As the May meeting of the Indiana State Florists' Association has been canceled, an unusually large attendance is expected at the June meeting, which will be held in Indianapolis at the com- mission house of the Smith & Young
