Very large and fine Highly popular. June and July. Red June. Skin thick, purplish red, with blue bloom. Flesh yellow, solid, juicy, subacid with Damson flavor; cling- stone; quality good. Maturing 10th to end of June. Very prolific, showy and attrac- tive it color. It ripens a week before Abun- dance, and is the earliest large-fruited va- riety. Burbank. Large, nearly globular, clear, cheny-red ; flesh a deep yellow, very sweet. Resembles Abundance in the tree and fruit, averages larger, of better quality, rather handsomer, and from two to four weeks later. August. Wickson. This is one of the best of the recently introduced Plums of the Japa- nese type. The fruit is abundant and of first quality. Wlllard. Tree a vigorous grower, har- dy and productive. Fruit dark red. Prunus Pissardli, or Purple- Leaved Plum. A most remarkable tree. The fruit is puiplish-crimson from the time the bloom falls until its maturity. Dainson.
