A beautiful species of Mexican Vine, of shrubby habit, fine for bed- ding, or ])Ianting in vases, in a sunny position; height 13 inches, with large fleshy, v/hite and green foliage; bright red steins. Flowers of a brilliant scarlet, resembling the Amaryllis, the bulb throwing up its strong stems about one foot high, with from five to eight of its lily-like flowers; fine for bedding out, or cultivatioa in pots.
