(July 11, 2018) Midshipman 1st Class Conner Duffey, a midshipman from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, rappels from a tower during a helicopter rope suspension technique training course as part of an Explosive Ordnance Disposal summer cruise at Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group (EODGRU) 2 at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. EODGRU 2 hosts the event to identify potential EOD officers from Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps and the Naval Academy prior to their senior year.
