VIETNAM - RACH GIA - THE SPLASH OF A SEASIDE RESORT. Located west of the Mekong Delta, Rach Gia and the province of Kien Giang, of which it is the capital, are experiencing growing prosperity. This coastal city is being transformed into a large seaside resort to the point of competing with those of southern Thailand. Construction sites, construction sites, still building sites. We cut the trees along the sea to build a pretty seafront and shops. Discotheques, karaoke, restaurants and hotel complexes grow in the middle of nothing. VIETNAM - RACH GIA - L’ÉCLOSION D’UNE STATION BALNÉAIRE. Située à l’Ouest du Delta du Mekong, Rach Gia et la province de Kien Giang dont elle est la capitale connaissent une prospérité grandissante. Cette ville côtière est en train de se transformer à vu d’oeil en une grande station balnéaire au point de vouloir concurrencer celles du Sud de la Thaïlande. Des chantiers, des chantiers, encore des chantiers. On abat les arbres qui longent la mer afin d’y construire un joli front de mer et des commerces. Discothèques, karaokés, restaurants et complexes hoteliers poussent au milieu de rien.
