On this side it has shown itself to be quite a remarkable outdoor sort. It is ex- tremely early, maturing its first fruits by mid-summer, and a very heavy cropper, producing large numbers of fruit clusters, each bearing half a dozen to twelve or fourteen smooth, even, very fair-sized fruits. It is a vigorous grower, is not subject to disease, the flesh is solid and of fine flavor, the color bright scarlet. We recommend it very highly both for outdoor use and for forcing.
