The St. Louis Florists' Club will hold its monthly meeting March 12 in Odd Fellows' hall. This will be an import- ant meeting for all members, as the final discussion and vote on holding a fall flower show will take place. Adolph Jaenicke will lecture on city gardens. Special notices are being prepared by the secretary, urging all members to attend. W. J. Filcher, of Kirkwood, says he purchased two large Kroeschell boilers from Fred ^(jautenschlager, who was here recently. These will be installed at the new houses he will build this spring. Adolph G. Fehr, of Belleville, 111., was a visitor in the city last week buy- ing supplies. He reports that he has built a new boiler house and will, this spring, build two new houses, one 140 feet and the other 100 feet. The large one Tvill be used for roses. Mr. Fehr is president of the Business Men's As- sociation of Belleville. George B. Windier, the well known south side florist, recently had a break in his boiler which caused him a great deal of trouble. The coal oil stoves used by Beyer Bros, came in handy.
