Two royal Navy Merlin aircraft from 845 Squadron Command Helicopter Force (CHF) based at RNAS Yeovilton, deploy to Oakhampton Battle Camp for the duration of the Ten Tors Challenge. the Merlin Commando MK4 Helicopters currently assist the Ten Tors challenge on an annual basis, providing equipment/personell tansport/delivery and Medivac if required. Both aircraft were operational for over 7 hours to cover event requirements the day prior to the challenge
