BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan (Dec. 18, 2016) - Gen. Mark A. Milley congratulates Staff Sgt. Trevor Thompson after presenting him the Air Medal during a ceremony held near the Forces Afghanistan headquarters here. Milley is the Chief of Staff of the Army, Thompson is a UH-60 Blackhawk MEDEVAC helicopter flight medic who helped save the life of an Afghan National Army Soldier critically wounded during a Sept. 21 combat operation in Khost Province.
