Near Clayton, New Mexico: Close-up of a fossilized dinosaur track, shaped much like a kite and attributed to an amphibian. Fossilized tracks of some eight kinds of dinosaurs, made some 100 million years ago, can be seen and studied at Clayton Lake State Park. The area was once a vast inland sea.
