Moray Ampitheatre, Peru - 12 May 2018 This mysterious set of terraces is actually a masterpiece of ancient Incan agronomy. It is located on a plateau to the NW of Cuzco. Recent research shows that it was constructed in such a way as to simulate Peruvian microclimates and test how these should best be planted with food crops.
