The Hague, The Netherlands, Friday 10th January, 2020. The Moon passed through Earth's penumbral shadow and reached totally at 20:10 local time this evening. Unlike a full Lunar or partial eclipse, a penumbral eclipse can pass unnoticed, as the Earths penumbral shadow creates a weak gradient across the Moon's surface.
