P. The consumption of coal will be about 75tons per hour when running at full capacity. An idea of theengine capacity is given by the statement that if all of thepiston area was combined in a single cylinder it would havea diameter of 32% feet. The contract for the boilers has beenclosed with the Babcock & Wilcox Co. They will be placed intwo stories of the building and provided with automatic coaland ash handling machinery and Roney stokers. 90 AMERICAN ENGINEER AND RAILROAD JOURNAL. Btciou ax C. C Soctlon •! B.
