They are very desir- able for borders or for grouping, and also as specimen plants for the lawn. Rosea nana variegata. One of the most conspicu- ous shrubs that we cultivate; leaves beautifully margined with creamy white ; flowers pink. HIGH=BUSH CRANBERRY. Both ornamental and useful ; its red berries resem- ble cranberries, and are esteemed by many; they hang until destroyed by frost. The plant is like the snowball in wood and foliage. It is very hardy and ornamental in habit, especially when covered with its thick clusters of large, bright red berries.
