The US Coast Guard (USCG) ISLAND CLASS: Patrol Craft, USS METOMPKIN (WPB 1325) is raised by a floating crane from a cargo ship at the pier in Manama, Bahrain, to take on its new role as coalition warship of Coast Guard Patrol Forces Southwest Asia. The 110-foot craft completes the largest number of patrol boats ever assigned to support the Naval Central Forces Command, Fifth Fleet. Base: Manama Country: Bahrain (BHR)
