HEDGE PLANT5 Berberis Thunbergi {Japan Barberry). Where a dwarf decidious hedge is wanted, nothing equals this beautiful Barberry. Requires but little prun- ing to keep in shape. The leaves are small, light green, and towards fall assume rich, brilliant colors, the fruit or berries becoming scarlet. Absolutely hardy in all parts of the country. Plant 12 to 15 inches apart.
