KABUL, Afghanistan (March 9, 2017) — The Afghan economy is set for a boost, now that the Afghan National Army has moved to have its uniforms manufactured locally at a new factory. The Afghanistan-based Baha Trading Company will produce thousands of military uniforms, with a weekly output of 3,750. “The sewing factory is building needed clothing capacity in Afghanistan and specifically trust in this Afghan workforce to supply military uniforms,” said Thomas A. Lockhart, executive director of CSTC-A’s office of sustainment.
