A KC-135 Stratotanker, assigned to the Goldwater Air National Guard Base, 161st Air Refueling Wing refuels an F-35 Lightning II assigned to the 56th Fighter Wing on Jan. 26, 2024 over Tucson, Arizona. The KC-135 has provided the core aerial refueling capabilities of the USAF for over 60 years. Partnering with the 161st ARW contributes to Luke Air Force Base’s third line of effort of building teams across local and international barriers.
