Nothing seems to take the place of sand-wiches, in spite of the fact that we do growtired of them. To make them more palat-able, try spreading the slices of bread withbutter; wrap these in waxed paper and putthe filling in another little waxed paperpackage, or in a little jar, according to thenature of the filling.
