This handsome flock of Greylag Geese and goslings is is resting in shallow waters of the River Thames by Abingdon Lock and Weir. Branta canadensis is native to the arctic and temperate regions of North America, and has been successfully introduced to the United Kingdom. It can now be seen just about anywhere around the Thames.
