Saint Simeon. Icon in the marble iconostasis in the Russian Orthodox Saint Simeon's Church in Dresden, Saxony, Germany. The icon dedicated to Simeon Vikulin, who was a donator and a committee of the church, was donated by the Dresden Orthodox Society on May 24, 1873. Saint Simeon Stylites the Younger was a patron of Simeon Vikulin. All icons in the iconostasis were painted by James Marshall (1838–1902), a Dresden painter with English and Dutch origins. The Russian Orthodox Church dedicated to Saint Simeon Stylites the Younger also known as Saint Simeon of the Wonderful Mountain was designed by architect Harald Julius von Bosse and built from 1872 to 1874.
