He broke down in the White Plains handicap and never itorted afterwards. At Mr. Belmont's sale, after that gen- :laman'a death, he was purchased by J. H. MeCormick. List week Mr. Rose sold Bico and some other horses to Mr. McCormick end St. Carlo was part of the consideration. We tre glad to see so highly-bred a horse purchased for stnd purposes in this State and feel confident that the Master of Gtoeemeade will breed many a high flyer from him.
