The skin is a mottled gray color, shape long. Flesh bright crimson, and of sweet, delicious flavor. One of the most pro- ductive varieties known, and destined to become a popular market variety. This variety grows uniformly large, often weighing sixty to sev- enty pounds; hardly ever bursting or showing any bruises, hence the best market melon.
