Ambri-Piotta, Switzerland (TI) - 9 July 2017: A vacant hotel and signal installation at the lonesome railway station of Ambri-Piotta on the old Gotthard railway line in Sitzerland's Ticino canton. Since opening of the new Gotthard railway route (NEAT) as main transport axis between Northern Europen and taly in 2017, the volume of traffic through the small twin villages of Ambri and Piotta diminished.
