Kirkcudbright, Scotland, looking up river towards the bridge from the quayside (2022). This 5 spanned concrete bridge over the River Dee at Kirkcudbright was built in 1926 by the engineers Mouchel. It replaced similar arched bridge made of wrought iron with six spans built in 1868. The present bridge has retained the original ornate lamp columns .
