The Himalayan region (Nepal, Tibet, Ladakh) is a treasure trove of serene and beautiful Monasteries. Buddhist monks still follow the same rituals practiced 1000 years ago. This Buddha idol belongs to one such Monastery. I just spent 20 minutes meditating and was able to take this beautiful shot hand held, without flash at 1/10 sec. I guess that is the power of Meditation.
