The Totemuhle (Death Mill), nr St-Juliaan, Belgium. Erich Maria Remarque, the famous German writer ('All Quiet on the Western Front') was stationed near here. "Located about half a mile east of Vancouver Corner is a mill. This is a structure that was rebuilt after the War in the early 1920s, but the original mill here was given the name Totemuhle or 'Death Mill' by the Germans who used it as an observation post."
