The main feature pervading the entire re-port of May 1, 1912, and one which cannot betoo strongly emphasized, is the Unit idea ofcombining the subdivisions of the companysworks into one closely connected and interloclcedsystem, by which not only the greatest degreeof water conservation will be effected, but alsothat one division can assist the other by eitherfurnishing it with water or storing its surpluswaters, thereby reducing waste to a minimum.
