Petty Officer 3rd Class Domingo Diaz, an aviation boatswain mate handler assigned to amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19), directs fellow Sailors away from an UH-1Y Huey assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (Reinforced) after unsecuring it from the flight deck during an evening flight operation April 24, 2017. The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit is underway with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 6th Fleet area of operations.
