American and French soldiers are seen digging in the ruins of a Chateau in Noyers, St. Martin, France. The chateau was bombed on the night of May 30, 1918, resulting in the death of three American officers and serious injury to one. This photograph was taken on July 2, 1918, and passed the censor on June 20, 1918.
