A fine enamelled gold box in a leather case, London, 1795/96 22-carat rose gold, enamelled, and hand painted. The entire surface of the twelve-section, oval box is enamelled. The top and bottom bear translucent red medallions on a guilloché background, displaying a hand-painted bouquet or a basket of flowers, set in turquoise flowery friezes with roses or flowers in yellow, red, and blue enamel.
