Our drawing is taken from a living specimen now in his Lordshipscollection, either a female, or a male in the plumage of the first skins from which Mr Vigors took his description, which we haveadded in our specific character, had the crimson on the forehead brighter,and extending almost to the hinder part of the head. All those we haveseen, viz. a specimen sent to the Linnean Society by Mr Macleav, andone or two others in the possession of a dealer, were in the same state withthat
