Fatal accident at the 1982 Canadian Grand Prix takes the life of Riccardo Paletti at the start of the race. Palettis' race car rear ended the Ferrari of Didier Pironi, trapping him in the car. Crews extricated Paletti and air lifted him to hospital where he passed away.
