MiG-15UTI jet trainer with Fighter Squadron 31 insignia on display at Central Finland Museum of Aviation.
Czechoslovakia-manufactured Soviet designed tandem two-seat MiG-15UTI jet trainer, with NATO reporting name Midget. This aircraft is on display at Central Finland Museum of Aviation with Fighter Squadron 31 insignia, the black lynx, painted on its nose. It was powered by the Klimov RD-45 FA turbojet engine. The four individual aircraft were operated in the Finnish Air Force as a transition type between the Fouga Magister jet trainer and the MiG-21F-13 interceptor at the Rissala Air Base near Kuopio in Eastern Finland from 1962 to 1977.
