Guenee recorded it ('AsDotyx cubanalis Gn.) from Cuba (2), and Dyar listed it from Florida, Texas, and the West Indies (5). Specimens from the following-named localities and now in the National Museum have been identified by Mr. August Busck: Ker- ville, Victoria, and San Antonio, Tex.; Mexico; Costa Rica ; Jamaica, Cuba, and Grenada, West Indies. The addition of Baton Rouge, La.,' and Brownsville, Tex., completes the list of known localities where' the species occurs. 1 Figures in parentheses refer to "Literature cited," p.
