Dallas, Tex.—The Southland Seed Co. has been incorporated with cap- ital stock $20,000. The incorporators are Wm. D. Garlington, CuUen H. Tin- ker and Herbert H. Holloway. The onion seed harvest in California tor the coming year should total 800,- 000 pounds or over. The annual in- crease in demand during recent years has approximated 75,000 pounds. Fremont, Neb.—Nebraska growers have been seriously delayed with the harvesting of all late seed crops, also sweet and field corn, by the numerous heavy snowstorms during the past six or seven weeks, which are responsible for late deliveries and short crops. Sedalia, Mo.—L. H. Archias enter- tained the' employes of the Archias' Seed Store Corporation at a turkey dinner at his home on Quincy avenue on New Year's day.
