It takestime to properly prepare your birds,and. instead of it being early for thework, it is rather late to begin. Thebeginning of the fitting should have started with thef rst meal fed to the little chicks after they were re-moved from the nest or the incubator where they werehatched, for the first step in the preparation of birdsfor the show room is to render them tame. No bird will show to advantage which is wild. Ihave seen some beautiful birds well worth the highesthonors, exhibited in such a state of wildness that thejudge simply had to pass them by.
