Harefield, UK. 4th April, 2024. Thames Water are carrying out sewer repairs outside the HS2 High Speed Rail West Portal site in West Hyde, Hertfordshire. Vast amounts of sewage from the site are being sent to the Thames Water Maple Lodge Sewage Treatment Works. Two Chinese state owned banks may agree to an extension of the £190m loan to the parent company of Thames Water. The loan is due to be repaid at the end of April.
