The same feeling and method are seen in the doorway arch of ahouse in the Fondamenta Pesaro, where the tympanum is filled witha bas-relief representing two winged and kneeling angels bearing ashield between them, while above the shield is the half figure ofa third angel holding in one hand a circular disk with a Greekcross in relief, the other being raised in the posture of arch in this instance is pointed, but is surrounded by a broadborder edged on both sides with the Venetian dentil and filled with a. biii. 1>4.
