CAMP SMITH, Hawaii (August 4, 2017)— Adm. Harry Harris, Commander of Pacific Command (PACOM), has a conversation with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson at PACOM Headquarters. Secretary Tillerson is traveling to Manila, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur to meet with his counterparts and discuss a range of issues including the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, maritime security, and counterterrorism. Secretary Tillerson’s travel reaffirms the Administration’s commitment to further broaden and enhance economic and security interests in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
