It is a curious fact that in the voluminous correspondenceof Billow, published by his wife, Marie,—there are seven thick vol-umes,—there is no allusion to his concerts at Leipsic in March, in her letter said that the staccato passage that comesbefore the lovely B-flat minor in the coda of the first movement.
