Pen Yr Oleu Wen. Peak in Snowdonia in the Nant Francon Valley. A hard climb and a hard descent. Immensely jarring to the legs and knees! 3,209 feet.
This peak is a hard climb which seems to go on for ever. I have climbed it many times and also walked from Conway over the tops and down this mountain with knees almost shattered by its steepness. It is the same height as the Scafells in the Lake District.
