Half of a large cargo vessel sits on a pile of boulders.; Congo River, Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Half of a large cargo vessel sits high and dry on a pile of boulders on a Congo Riverbank. The ship was swept downstream during high water, broken in half and deposited on the rocks. The Congo River regularly runs at more than three million cubic feet per second during the rainy season and contains the largest whitewater rapids in the world.
