Micro-scale geographical features in silt after a river flood. The landscape looks like satellite images, with canyons, river valleys and deltas.
After a recent river flood (2000 cumecs) the river silt deposits were carved by the retreating water, creating a miniature-scale landscape of perfect geographical features, including gorges, canyons, deltas, dendrites and landslides. Some insect tracks add a curious feature to what could otherwise be taken for satellite images or lunar landscapes. Beautiful, natural and a delight to behold. Each image is of an area about the size of a sheet of A4 paper. The panoramas are of valleys about 1 metre in length.
