After degraded hardwood was reduced, a front-loader is used to load a tractor trailer for final disposal, Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, August 26, 2018. Working with FEMA and the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources, hardwoods that have degraded will be chipped, while quality hardwoods will be stockpiled at a DNER furnished location for final disposal.
