Traffic free cycling along the banks of the Thames. The cycle path is on the Thames path National Trail, one of 19 designated national paths in the UK, running from the source in the Cotswolds to the Thames Barrier at Greenwich. It is possible with a few exceptions to cycle along most of the Thames or not too far from it. Cyclist can follow the river from Hampton to Teddington Lock and beyond crossing from the north to the south side of the river at Kingston bridge.
