Popular with garden visitors. FULD'S FAVORITE. (K) (Dec) (102) Beautiful light lavender rose. One of the prettiest but quite late. 6-8 open. GAY HUSSAR. (Sal) (Com) (Dec) (80-90) Quite similar to Nancy Hanks but an improvement on that variety. Salmon orange shading to yellow throat and scarlet throat markings. Six or more blooms open. Moderate height. Very showy. GERALD INE FARRAR. (D) (Dec) (95-100) Distinct shade of lavender blue. If this were only larger and had longer stems it would be one of the finest blues on the market yet not a very strong grower. GIANT NYMPH. (Coleman) (Ex) (Com) (80-85)Very large light salmon rose. Strong grower. Considered one of the best commercial and exhibition varieties. GLORIANA. (Betscher) (Ex) (Com) (85-90) Golden salmon, clear yellow throat. Blooms do not open up wide and not always well placed but beautiful color and can be grown wonderfully well. Very tall. GOLD EAGLE. (Austin) (Com) (65-70) Deep clear yellow, slightly ruffled. The earliest good yellow for commercial purposes. GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY. (K) (Dec) (101) Fawn yellow suffused with blush pink. Large red blotch. Finely ruffled. 4-5 open. A very distinct and beautiful variety. GOLDEN BROWN. (K) (Dec) (72) Mahogany red shading to brown in the center. The nearest to a brown color in gladiolus. GOLDEN CUP. (See page 11.) GOLDEN DREAM.
